I have finished the first draft of my Yuletide pinch-hit (which is, yet again, in a fandom I have never written before, or at least one I've never posted to AO3 - go me?). I'm sure the feeling will fade once the beta-readers have gone over it, and I go back to put in all the bits I thought were in there to begin with but didn't actually make it out of my brain, but for now, I'll enjoy the feeling.

Also we have our Christmas tree up and decorated. Other Christmas decorations, not so much, but then our celebration of Christmas isn't so much Actual Holiday as it is Oh Thank Fuck The Semester's Over And We Have Time Off, with a side of movies and Chinese food.

Next up: finishing my Secret Santa gift. Maybe put on some nice seasonal murder while I embroider. :-D

Le petit Arüth reçoit de sa maman une statuette de mouton et s'en fait un ami imaginaire. Jusqu'au jour où le mouton prend corps l'emmène à l'aventure...

Graphiquement c'est très, très joli ! mais la narration ne fonctionne pas très bien, entre une erreur de temps, quelques fautes d'orthographe et un vocabulaire pas exactement adapté... mais comme l'intérêt ici ce sont les illustrations ça fait la job ?

Cute, pretty kiddie book about a young boy and a magical sheep.

some serious wtfuckery is going on with our sister course at the vocational school but i'll keep that for later (there's massive shit brewing out for next thursday)

meanwhile the nice guy at the drawing club got me the promised two fanzines *and* a copy of a secondhand book i've been looking for and failing to find for several years, what a darling ♥
also got a self-published comics i had my eye on for next time i visit the bookshop, here's a reminder to do so soon!

...ah shit it's a sequel to another comics (This one summer) i haven't read yet?

Two friends plan a trip to New York. At the last minute they add a third one. There's romance involved, and jealousy because of it. It was supposed to be friend time; the other feels left out and have to mend it.

oh right last monday at the drawing session at least three other friends and i brought our new copies of the newest issue of a local magazine so the author could sign them
and i met a member of a Dumas aficionados club
he had a couple of fanzines with him so i asked about them
he said he could brought more next week for me to buy?
then improvised a manifesto about what adaptations of Les trois mousquetaires watch or not
